Britney More Thoughtfully Committed

Police and family obviously learned something from the first time Britney was hospitalized and planned everything so much better this time around.

This means there were no embarrassing and unfortunate photos of Ms. Spears being taken to the UCLA Medical Center, which must be such a relief to the future sane Britney, her parents, her kids and, yes, even us. Instead, it was just a "line of emergency vehicles stretched longer than a football field," according to the L.A. Times

The paper goes on, saying part deux of Britney's commitment was kicked off by a call to authorities from the same psychiatrist Sam Lutfi recently told The View's Barbara Walters about.

So much planning was done to bring in the overly photographed pop star that police were able to block off the roads from paparazzi as well as blackout the windows of the ambulance. Of course, this makes the above video incredibly boring, but we're totally okay with that.

Brit is said to be "more comfortable" at the hospital this time and will remain in psychiatric hold for at least 72 hours. If the evaluation and treatment are given as much thought as the motorcade, this could be the time Britney gets the help she needs. Cross your fingers!
