Last year, Melanie Griffith revealed that her daughter Dakota Johnson forbid her from seeing Fifty Shades of Grey.

But now that the highly anticipated, sexed-up flick is only one day away from hitting theaters, has the 57-year-old actress changed her mind about buying a ticket to see Johnson get it on with Jamie Dornan on the big screen?

"No!" Griffith told reporters recently at Clive Davis' Grammys party in Beverly Hills. "Would you want to see your child having sex like that? Just regular sex, I couldn't do that. But the 'room of pain' sex? I definitely couldn't do that!"

Universal Pictures and Focus Features

Griffith revealed she was a big fan of the Fifty Shades book long before her daughter was cast in the movie adaptation. "You have to read. I read it was before she was cast in the movie," she smiled.

"I was so happy for her when she called me," Griffith added. "She goes, 'Well, I just got Fifty Shades of Grey!' I was like, 'Oh. My. God!'"

Still, Griffith insists she'll never see the film.

"She would be very uncomfortable if I saw it, and I would be very uncomfortable if I saw it," Griffith said. "So we would never be able to talk about it, so why would I see it? You know what I mean?

We totally understand!
