The 37-year-old actress and mother two finally joined the photo sharing site Thursday, and while she's a little late to the party (hey, better late than never), she's off to an excellent start!
As you can see, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum got not one, not two, but three PDA-filled selfies with hubby Freddie Prinze Jr. into her first shot (thank you, collage feature)! It seems the social media newbie, who only joined Twitter in 2013, had a little trouble with her hashtags. She wrote, verbatim: "#MyFirstInstaCongrats @realfpj I'm very excited to send my first #instagram #400000"
Not to worry, though, SMG got the hang of things quickly. Her second Instagram post was precious and perfectly hashtagged! "My daughter Charlotte the #RebelStormTrooper also wanted an #instagram welcome," mom captioned the sweet, silly pic of her 5-year-old. (A Lego figure of what appears to be her daddy's Jedi character on Star Wars Rebels stands behind her.)
This working mom will hopefully be posting lots more snaps of Charlotte and her brother Rocky, 2. And, of course, we want to see lots of Freddie, too! So how, after two kids and 11 years of marriage, are Sarah Michelle and her man still so in love? "We work at it," she told More magazine last year.
She emphasized the importance of having "a separate life," explaining, "I always say I'm Sarah Michelle Gellar when I work and I'm Sarah Prinze in the other life...I don't know if there's a secret—if I had a secret, I'd write a book and retire. But we talk. We check in."
