In between trying to get to the bottom of Britney Spears' naked shopping spree (part deux), Ryan Seacrest spent some time chatting with Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana, on his KIIS-FM morning show. (Get the full audio.)

Between the usual "I'm not dating or crushing on any of the Jonas Brothers, now listen to me be funny" banter, Miley did get serious, spouting some wise talk on such serious topics as her career plans: "It's going to be more my ideas and being not just a singer, not just a Disney artist, but being more of a real artist."

As for Jamie Lynn Spears' pregnancy, Cyrus says, "It was really sad, because that's definitely going to change her life, but I really respect her for taking it the classy route."

Miley also noted she has not been in contact with Jamie Lynn lately, because "she's turned her phones off. She's doing her thing. She's really just trying to figure herself out."

But our favorite highlights are Miley's fortune-cookie quotes after the jump...

  • "It's all in your mind, it's all in your vibe. Everything will come as it's supposed to, if you just let life take it in its hands."
  • "You can't change the way people think unless you really give them the opportunity. You can't explain yourself to everyone, and there's not a reason you should have to."
  • "A good way to start 2008 is really just trying to get to know yourself."
  • "If you can just sit back and enjoy life, it will come as it should."

Have you ever heard a 15-year-old talk like this outside of Dawson's Creek? Child stars, they grow up so fast.

P.S.: Miley's new song is actually pretty fun.
