Welcome back, Avril Lavigne!

If you're a fan of the pop star known for huge hits including  "Complicated" and "Sk8er Boi," chances are it's felt like forever since we've seen or heard from the 30-year-old.

Well, all that changed Tuesday afternoon when Lavigne released the full music video for her latest single "Give You What You Like."

Featuring scenes from the upcoming Lifetime movie Babysitter's Black Book, the video shows quite a mature side of a singer who used to be known for wearing ties and riding skateboards all over town.

"When you turn off the lights/I get stars in my eyes/Is this love," she sings in a candlelit room. "Maybe someday/So don't turn on the lights/I'll give you what you like."

It's a big step for the singer who kept a low-profile in recent months. In fact, her departure from the music scene resulted in speculation of possible health problems.

Luckily, Lavigne helped calm down die-hard fans by tweeting an important message before the end of 2014.

"The rehab RUMORS are hilarious," she shared on Twitter days before Christmas. "The only thing I'm addicted to right now is Bing Crosby."

For now, Lavigne is staying focused on making new music and ignoring all the speculative headlines out there.

"Writing a new song today…From my bed. Nothing can stop me," she tweeted. "I am so grateful for music and the power of it…"
