Why Is Vogue's Website Covered in Nothing But Llama Articles?!

Fashion site has articles such as "7 Llamas Who Take Their Hair Cues From Our Favorite Celebrity Manes" all over their site

Is there some kind of big celebration called Llama-palooza that we're unaware of? Like, a day or week dedicated to honoring llamas? If you were to go on Vogue's website right now, you'd probably answer in the affirmative, because llamas are currently all over their homepage. And it's weird.

If Vogue had 10 articles about the many uses of suede papering their site, then sure, we'd buy that. Or if they had a homepage full of models bending awkwardly to show off a dress you'll never wear and/or afford, then we wouldn't be blinking an eye.

But llamas? And what's stranger is that not all the articles are even fashion-related. Some are just strictly llama based!

What's with the llama obsession happening over at Vogue? Are they ahead of the curve on the llama trend? Are they being sponsored by llamas now? It's one of those moments where you look at a website and say to yourself, "um, did these guys get hacked?"

Here is the paragraphs that precedes most of these articles:

"Llamas are chic creatures, with an imposing silhouette, shaggy fur accents, and a self-possessed comportment. And Valentine's Day has us considering warm, wintry gifts to give our loved ones. Irresistible blankets, woolly knits, cozy fleece—and pajamas."

Don't get us wrong, we adore llamas. Especially because talking about them gives us the perfect excuse to bring up our beloved DMX Llama. But since we wouldn't put Vogue and llamas together in reality, we're going to assume that they are just deep in the throes of some kind of alternative reality and/or drug trip where llamas are now the new Jennifer Lawrence. They are everywhere.

Here are all the articles on Vogue's homepage that are about llamas (and we're not making any of these up). The first three are just the ones posted at the top of the page, before you even touch your scroll wheel:
