The 100 fans are a tough bunch, and for a good reason! After having to say goodbye to beloved character after beloved character, they've learned to develop a thick skin.

And that's going to come in handy very soon, since executive producer Jason Rothenberg warns there is even more heartbreak coming up on the CW's hit post-apocalyptic drama.

When E! News caught up with The 100 boss after filming the CW's new interactive Fan Talk show hosted by Smiletime (with E! Online's own Tierney Bricker acting as social media host!), we had to ask...which characters should fans be worried about the most?

CW

"They should we worried about all of them," Rothenberg says. "None of them are safe, for sure. I feel like the people in Mount Weather are the most endangered of everybody, including Bellamy [Bob Morley]. But they are all in bad situations and they are going to put themselves in more and more dangerous situations moving forward. No one's safe. No one should go to sleep on their favorites."

Well, thanks for that fresh anxiety!

Something else that is making it difficult for us to sleep at night is watching the tension grow between Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and her mom Abby (Paige Turco) after Abby had to recognize Clarke as the leader of their people, not her. And that's going to be difficult for Abby to reconcile in herself.

CW

"For her, the season's been about what's her role, what's her place?" Rothenberg says. "She was in charge last year, and the grown-ups showed up and the hope was they would help, but instead they saw things very differently. And her mom became, I wouldn't say an impendent to what she wanted because Abby is all about the survival of the group as well and she's very much been the moral center of the show and she wants to do things the right way and she wants to make sure they're the good guys, which is spoiling a line from an episode coming up actually…"

But now that the Grounders look to Clarke as the leader of the Sky People, Abby is going to find herself with less and less power moving forward in the war against Mount Weather.

"Finally Clarke has done what she had to do," Rothenberg says of Clarke's showdown with Abby in the last episode. "She's always been pushing this alliance with the Grounders and in that scene in particular, essentially needing to divert the attention in Mount Weather away from Bellamy so he could continue to move around…it's going to be harder and harder for him to move around in there."

CW

He continues, "At least the focus of the eyes of Mount Weather will be outward and looking for Clarke and this supposed secret army that she said that they have. She needed to step up in that moment and Abby wouldn't let her do that, so it was like, ‘F--k it. I'm in charge.'"

And now that Clarke has all this power, when she "crosses a line" in tonight's episode, things between her and Abby come to head.

"The next episode is a very strong episode," Rothenberg says. "I say that all the time, but it's one of my favorite episodes."

Clarke's going to be facing opposition on more than one side, as tensions between her and Raven (Lindsey Morgan) are still boiling in the wake of Finn's (Thomas McDonnell) murder.

CW

"Raven is really wanting to throw herself into her work now as a way to grapple with all of these emotions, but Clarke is a trigger for some things. It's tough," Morgan tells us. "I think grief is such a weird, weird emotion to just grapple with to begin with. You're just crazy. You go through so many different feelings. Some days you're up, some day you're down. It's nuts."

She continues, "But this is even worse because Clarke murdered him. It wasn't in cold blood and even though [Raven] does see the logical situation and it was a mercy kill and [Clarke] in a strange way saves him, it still stings her that it was at [Clarke's] hands. I think the whole thing just hurts Raven, even the way he was buried, she never had a chance to say goodbye. She never had her closure."

Don't expect Raven and Clarke to get back to a good place anytime soon.

"She takes a lot of that out on Clarke," Morgan says of Raven's grieving. "I think she tries not to, but she needs somewhere to fuel her focus and anger at the entire situation and Clarke is unfortunately the target of it."

But Raven and Clarke are going to have to work together in tonight's episode, as Mount Weather prepares to launch a missile on Camp Jaha. Yes, a missile!

"That's a very high intensity episode," Morgan says. "It's very tricky because we're planning a war and we're planning an attack, but we have people already there that we have to save. It's a very difficult question as far as how much do you want your enemy to know, how much are you willing to give to keep your secrecy and to keep your cards hidden? What are you willing to sacrifice to try and win?"
