Although there have been a few scintillating scenes released ahead of Fifty Shades of Grey's actual big screen debut this weekend, we're getting another look at the intimacy between Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson before really getting up close and personal at the theater.
Director Sam Taylor-Johnson, a known photographer before making her feature film debut, shot some black-and-white behind-the-scenes photos of the two stars in between takes for W magazine, and the results are quite steamy. But she does tell the mag that often times what we imagine might turn out better than what's put in front of us.
"When you see something, it's all over," Taylor-Johnson says. Don't worry! There are still plenty of sex scenes. "We do get there eventually," she jokes to the mag.
"We definitely get there."
Based on the photo of Anastasia blindfolded and tied to the bed rails with Christian on top of her, we can assume we most definitely "get there."
The hot and heavy photo, Taylor-Johnson tells the mag, is a "shot of the scene where Jamie drips wine from his mouth into Dakota's, then seduces her with an ice cube."
We're just going to have to take a second to catch our breath.
Just looking at her half-covered face reveals how much she's into it...as are we.
The series of photos show Dakota and Jamie during filming and taking breaks, but every photo captures the tight-knit relationship these two share on and off the screen. There's no doubt that these two are comfortable with each other, as one racy pic shows Dakota lying on the floor completely naked while Jamie lounges behind her on a chair.
Taylor-Johnson also captured the highly anticipated moment of Christian Grey and Anastasia steal "lovemaking" for the first time! Anastasia lies on the bed holding his face as he lies on top of her. Based on her facial expression, there is no fear here (yet!) about what might happen in just a few minutes. He stares into her eyes, and all we can say is "swoon."
He might not do romance, but he certainly does something.
