Chuck Hodes/FOXCookie sure does know how to command a room.
Apparently, she also knows exactly how to deal with a situation that we would find totally and completely embarrassing.
In the clip below, which is one of the opening scenes from tomorrow night's brand new episode of Empire, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) arrives at a restaurant for what she thinks is a romantic dinner with her ex-husband (Terrence Howard), only to discover that the dinner is actually a celebration of Lucious' new engagement.
She's pretty unhappy, obviously, but where we would have sat and sulked politely until we could leave without ever acknowledging our mistake, Cookie does just the opposite – right in front of her children, her ex-husband, and his new fiancé.
It's possible that this woman is not even capable of embarrassment, and for that we applaud her. We applaud her for everything, actually. More Cookie all the time, please!
