Jennifer Esposito is your new mistress. Well, a new character on ABC's nighttime soap Mistresses.

Esposito replaces exiting star Alyssa Milano as the show moves production from Los Angeles to Vancouver. The Blue Bloods veteran will play Calista Raines, the creative director of a luxury fashion brand who quickly befriends Joss (Jes Macallan). Esposito's character is described as uber-fabulous and having a wicked sense of humor and she'll become a surrogate sister to Joss and draw her deeper into a world of what soaps do best: secrets and betrayal.

Milano played attorney Savi Davis for the first two seasons of mistresses, but announced her exit after ABC renewed the series for a summer 2015 season three.

"After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada, for financial reasons. It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate," Milano wrote. "I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away. I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best."

The Mistresses cast also includes Rochelle AytesLost's Yunjin KimJason George and Brett Tucker.

In addition to Blue Bloods, Esposito's other TV roles include Spin City, Taxi Brooklyn, Rescue Me and Judging Amy.
