Swoon a bit, yeah?

While otherwise maintaining a low profile tonight (he was spotted backstage in the background photo of his wife turned dear friend Gwyneth Paltrow), Chris Martin took the stage at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards to join Beck for a mellow performance of "Heart Is a Drum" in the latter half of the evening.

The skilled duo provided an interesting interlude following a healthy dose of shenanigans, starting with Beck's win for Album of the Year that was mainly memorable for Kanye West pretending to rush the stage (actually, he made it onstage, but only for effect) to interrupt. That moment was then followed by Sia's surprising, ultimately hilarious rendition of "Chandelier."

So then there were these two guys, strumming and harmonizing, Simon-and-Garfunkel-style, like a couple of singer-songwriters.

Fancy that.
