Pharrell Williams' Face Proves the 2015 Grammys Were Totally Lackluster (and He's Not Afraid to Judge Taylor Swift)

57th annual ceremony had a very somber feel

Anyone else ready for bed?

While there were undoubtedly some incredible moments during the 2015 Grammy Awards (Lady Gaga and Tony BennettHozier and Annie Lennox!), we couldn't help but notice that the artists opted for slower ballads, and as a result, offered a far less upbeat show than in past years.

From Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani (no special effects in their duet!) to Ariana Grande's slowed-down single "Just a Little Bit of Your Heart" (a far cry from the MTV Video Music Awards) the performances, albeit impressive, had a much more somber tone, leaving us yawning more than once as we suddenly felt a little glum.

Even artists who typically go all out with colorful props and theatrics—Katy PerryRihanna and Lady Gaga to name a few—chose acoustic tunes that highlighted their vocals, and with the exception of a few performances (Sia anyone?!), the back-to-back-to-back slow songs kind of made us want to fall asleep.

Although the sentimental singles couldn't stop Taylor Swift from dancing, the typically happy Pharrell Williams was caught by that pesky reaction camera looking less-than-thrilled (while seemingly judging T.Swift for her bliss).

Don't worry, Pharrell, you weren't the only one who was a little bit bored by the three-hour plus show.

Don't believe us? Here's proof we're all on the same page:
