Sometimes, you don't need epic dance moves, wild fireworks or special effects to make a Grammys performance good.

Need proof? We give you Gwen Stefani and Adam Levine's most recent gig.

Introduced by Ryan Seacrest who called them "two of our finest"–he does know they are on The Voice, right?—the talented musicians took to the stage to perform a special version of Maroon 5's "My Heart Is Open."

Wearing a Versace gown, the lead singer of No Doubt kept things red hot while singing lyrics to the hit song.

"It's just a moment, go and seize it / Don't be afraid to give your heart to me," she sang with Levine. "And if you do / I know that I won't let you down, no, yeah." So sweet!

What's also darling is Stefani's pure joy at being able to attend another Grammys in front of millions of people.

"I feel like I'm in a dream," she told E! News on Live From the Red Carpet. "Just to be at the Grammys is exciting but to be performing…I never thought I'd be doing this ever again so I feel very lucky."

We're happy to have you (and Levine, of course) together again!
