Pharrell Williams knows how to make an entrance, with his fashion choices always sparking conversation...especially his infamous hat at least year's Grammys. Unfortunately, the nominee left the hat at home for the 2015 Grammys on Sunday night.
The Voice coach had already won two awards, Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Music Video, when he stopped to chat with Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet and showed of his sleek shorts suit, which is actually part of his collection for Adidas.
"I usually wear shorts," Pharrell explained of his look. "That's just like my thing."
In fact, this isn't the first time the "Happy" singer has rocked shorts on the red carpet, choosing to wear Lanvin tuxedo shorts at the 2014 Academy Awards. But his Oscars look didn't glow in the dark though! Of his tan Grammys look, Pharrell explained, "When a light hits it, like a flash, it all turns to white. Super bright white."
And he showed off just how cool his suit looks when the light hits it when he posted a photo on Instagram, simply captioned, "Flash."
His wife Helen Lasichanh also rocked an Adidas suit.
Aside from his daring fashion choices, Pharrell, who is up for Album of the Year for "G I R L," talked about how he stays inspired when it comes to his work and life, which he described as "a carousel."
"I think you just have to stay curious, stay loving what you do. And stay on it," he said. "Just know that life is a carousel. It goes in circles, but even though the horse goes up and down, don't get off. Just stay on for the ride."
