Music's biggest night of the year was a star-studded spectacle that did not disappoint!

LL Cool J led the evening's festivities, which were held at Los Angeles' Staples Center, and got the crowd all jazzed up for the countless performances by everyone from Beyoncé to MadonnaKaty Perry, Nicki MinajKanye West and even Paul McCartney.

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards were off to a rousing start with a performance by none other than AC/DC, who brought the crowd to their feet with a medley of their hits "Rock or Bust" and "Highway to Hell."

The first award of the night was for Best New Artist, which went to (drumroll, please): Sam Smith!

The "Stay With Me" singer was understandably emotional on stage and shouted, "I won a Grammy" after thanking his team and family.

Ariana Grande then took the stage to serenade the audience with her power ballad "Just a Little Bit of Your Heart." Grande did not disappoint with those killer pipes!

Grammys night is usually known for bringing two singers from different musical genres (or generations) together, and tonight was certainly no exception.

First up on the duet-front for the evening was Jessie J and Tom Jones singing the Righteous Brothers' "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" on a podium from the middle of the audience.

Best Pop Solo Performance went to Pharrell Williams for his undeniably cheerful track, "Happy."

Miranda Lambert—looking sexy in a pair of skintight leather pants—brought a lil' country to the annual awards show with her track "Little Red Wagon."

The night's Lifetime Achievement award went to the Bee Gees, and Barry Gibb was on hand to accept the top honor alongside the Pentatonix.

And just like that, the award for Best Pop Vocal Album went to Smith (once again!) for In the Lonely Hour.

"It was only until I started to be myself that the music started to flow and people started to listen. So thank you guys for accepting me to be just me," he said as holding back tears.

Taking the stage for the first time in six years, Kim Kardashian's husband sang the emotional track dedicated to his daughter, North West, and his late mother, Donda West, called "Only One."

There's only one performer to follow Mr. West, and that would be the Queen of Pop herself who gave viewers quite a show with her new single, "Living for Love."

Beck was the night's next winner when he took home the trophy for Best Rock Album for Morning Phase.

Beyoncé took the stage to accept her award for Best R&B Performance with hubby Jay Z "Drunk In Love." Bey thanked her husband, daughter, and her Beyhive for their undying support.

Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Questlove all got together to sing the mega-hit "Thinking Out Loud." Immediately following, Sheeran sang "Evil Woman" with Jeff Lynne's ELO.

And only moments later, Maroon 5's Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani combined their super-singing powers to sing "My Heart Is Open".

The following award went to Miranda Lambert for her album Platinum, which won for Best Country Album. Congrats!

Hozier brought the house down with his hit "Take Me to Church" alongside Annie Lennox—who also sang a fantastic version of "I Put a Spell on You" from her album Nostalgia.

The crowd gave the performance a standing ovation for the two singers' heartfelt performance.

Making a cameo this evening, via video, was none other than President Barack Obama who spoke about stopping violence against women and urging artists to spread the word.

Shortly after, a domestic violence survivor took the stage to share her traumatic past ahead of Katy Perry's performance of "By the Grace of God."

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga gave us a hint of what it would be like to attend their concert, and we couldn't get enough of their cover of "Cheek to Cheek."

Next up was a country medley with none other than superstars Eric Church, Brandy Clark and Dwight Yoakam.

Their acts were followed by another major trio in the music world: Rihanna, West and Sir McCartney singing RiRi's new single, "FourFive Seconds."

After winning big thus far in the night, Smith sang his first single next to Mary J. Blige—which was truly something spectacular.

Colombian musician Juanes stepped on the stage (the first time since performing at the 2013 Grammys to sing an Elton John cover in Spanish) to sing his hit "Juntos."

Prince, dressed in the most sensational orange number, presented the award for Album of the Year.

One of the evening's biggest awards went to Beck (again!) for Morning Phase. The singer even mouthed "What the f--k" when he heard his name being called!

West even jokingly ran up to the stage to grab the award from his hand—he's always gotta stand up for Queen Bey, you know?!

Everyone's attention was then on Shia LaBeouf's speech when he presented Sia's "Chandelier—and that quickly switched to the actual performance itself—which featured Maddie Ziegler and Kristen Wiig giving their best modern dance performance.

At first glance, it was hard to tell if it was actually the Saturday Night Alum prancing around a run-down apartment set, but it definitely was her! In all her glory!

Seriously. It was the weirdest, best thing of the night, right?

The Academy then gave the award for Song of the Year to "Stay With Me," which was written by James Napier, Smith, and William Phillips.

Beck and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin then combined their vocal skills with an acoustic duet filled with flawless harmonies and swoon-worthy lyrics.

And arguably the highest honor of the night, Record of the Year, went to…Smith's "Stay With Me". Congratulations!

The Academy then paid tribute to those that the music industry has sadly lost over the last year, including Joe Cocker, Joan Rivers and Robin Williams.

But before the night came to an end, Beyoncé, John Legend and Common took the stage to sing "Take My Hand, Precious Lord" and "Glory" (from the Selma soundtrack), respectively.

The award-winning trio certainly gave the end of the festivities a soulful, emotional and powerful conclusion.

And the rest, as they say, is history! Congratulations to all and we'll see you in the same place, same time, next year!
