America wants answers, Ryan Reynolds.

It looks like no one wants them more than David Letterman, as the late-night talk show host intensely questioned Reynolds about the unknown name of his newborn daughter when he stopped by to promote his new movie, THE VOICES, which opens tomorrow. Letterman went through a series of different names, including Madison, Isabella and Sophia, to see if he could get to the bottom of the ongoing mystery, although we already know that it's not Violet.

Unfortunately, he didn't crack the case.

"I should've worn my cup!" Reynolds joked. "I didn't know I was going to busted this hard."

Playing the role of a very serious investigator (or just a good game of 20 Questions), Letterman asked the Woman in Gold actor if the name was a family name or even a Biblical name to help narrow down the search. Although admitting it was a family name, Reynolds declared, "It's not Elaine," AKA wife Blake Lively's mother's name.

Although we still don't know his baby's moniker, we do know how in love with his wife Reynolds is. And honestly, it's so wonderful it kind of hurts LOL.

On the birth of his child, the scruffy-faced actor said, "It's amazing. When we had that baby I fell more in love with my wife than I had ever been in my entire life."

If anyone needed reminding, Reynolds and Lively are not only the most gorgeous couple to walk this Earth, they are also the most romantic! They can easily be summed up as everyone's #RelationshipGoals.

It turns out, however, there is one other person he might love just a wee bit more than the Gossip Girl actress...his daughter!

"I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby," he said. "You can quote me."

He did admit that as a father to a newborn he sort of sees himself as only a diaper changer while his wife acts as "breakfast, lunch and dinner."

"She's a human Denny's all day long and all night long," he joked. "But the most beautiful Denny's you've ever seen."

Can't. Even. Deal.
