Watch: Zanna Roberts Rassi Shows How to Get the Perfect Selfie

We don't always get a lesson in the art of the selfie from an industry pro. Well, today, consider yourself lucky.

Zanna Roberts Rassi, E! News fashion correspondent, regular on the red carpet and senior fashion editor for Marie Claire magazine, spends countless hours in front of the camera. When she's not there, she's behind it, directing photo shoots and styling stars waiting for their turn in front of the lens. Needless to say, she knows her stuff.

In this video, presented by Crest 3D White Whitestrips, the editor relays five tips on how to take perfect photos, from selfies to normies. Whether you're capturing a memorable event or just waking up like this, Zanna uses her editorial eye to coach us on how to look—and more importantly, feel—great.

First off, Zanna swears by tried-and-true makeup tips, like wearing blue-red lipsticks to help make her teeth look even whiter. Blue tones can help to neutralize the yellows surrounding it.

It may feel a bit silly but practice taking photos at home, she suggests. This is a great way to find your best features and how to display them so they can look their best. Of course, the editor knows the benefits of flattering camera angles and shows us her go-to pose.

Finally, Zanna really emphasizes flashing a confident smile in your photos. Studies show that subjects found smiling faces more attractive and sincere, according to the American Pychological Association. She radiates confidence and a lasting impression with help from her pearly whites.
