Lookin' good there, Kate Mara!

The Fantastic Four star shows off her fit figure on the cover of Women's Health's March issue. Inside the magazine, the 31-year-old totally plays down her personal life—"I'm a pretty boring person," she claims—while throwing in quite a dramatic alternative to that, saying, "If I wasn't acting, I would be dead."

"I would die," she reiterates. "I can't imagine doing anything else. I have no backup plan, so I'd be screwed."

Now, truth be told, Kate would have been perfectly fine financially—her family owns the New York Giants. Aside from that, though, acting is all she's ever wanted to do.

"When I was a little kid, I dreamt of being an actor," she tells the mag. "It really cheesy, but it's true. The only other thing I ever dreamt of being was a figure skater, and that never came true."

She and sister Rooney Mara's earliest roles weren't the most memorable, though. Speaking about the siblings' childhood acting experiences, she tells Women's Health, "Rooney and I did the Wizard of Oz at some point [in school]. I was a tree and she was a munchkin. Or I was a munchkin, she was a tree."

Now that Kate has achieved her dream job, she's happy to enjoy some downtime when she's not working. "My favorite thing to do on my days off is go to the movies," she says. "That's pretty much it. I don't do much. I'm a pretty boring person. I'm also a homebody, so if I'm not just hanging out at home with my dogs, then I'm usually at the movie theater."
