The British are coming! The British are coming!

But really, they're totally taking over Hollywood. Vanity Fair realized that UK actors have been scooping up major roles left and right—in fact, as they pointed out, Batman, Superman, Spider-Man and Abraham Lincoln have all been played by Brits. So, the mag decided to have a little fun. London-born photographer Jason Bell rounded up a bevy of British actors (more like every British actor ever), including Eddie Redmayne, Benedict Cumberbatch, Felicity Jones, Tom Hiddleston and Dame Judi Dench to star in a short film.

Based off of a World War II-era newsreel, the clips show the actors doing a tongue-in-cheek reenactment of preparing for war, invading America, and then inserting themselves into all of the classic movies. There's Damian Lewis in To Have and Have Not. Hiddleston and Jones do Bonnie & Clyde.

And we'll never be able to unsee (or unhear) Keira Knightley as Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally's infamous deli scene. She put so much effort into the bit that even Dame Judi was impressed. (Dench will have what Keira's having, thankyouverymuch).

Below, see for yourself how the Brits are plotting their hostile takeover.
