Azealia Banks stirred some controversy this week by posting a photo showing her wearing white makeup and using racial slurs. Two days later, on Wednesday, she still won't let it go.

The 23-year-old rapper shared on her Instagram page a fan-made Photoshopped pic showing her made-up face superimposed on Queen Elsa from Disney's 2013 film Frozen.

"HA!!" Banks wrote.

She explained that her original pics, one of which was captioned #whiteface and which also shows her sporting blue eye contacts, did not show her in "whiteface," but rather depicted her as an "ice princess" for a new music video.

Banks' single "Ice Princess" is featured on her 2011 debut album Broke with Expensive Taste and contains lyrics such as "Pay me coats and benzies it's that burg ice / That's why I do not feel these bitches' frost bite / Grown money ever since they done I make my own money / You broke, honey? And they call me Banks cause I can loan money." The record also features a track titled "Yung Rapunxel."

Banks has become more known in recent months over her racially charged Twitter war of words with fellow rapper Iggy Azalea, who she also once called "Igloo Australia," rather than her music.

She also posts other racially fuelled tweets and occasionally spars with random users. She appears unapologetic about her choice of words.

And even jokingly passes the buck.
