At first glance, you wouldn't think that Eddie Redmayne and Jennifer Garner look alike, but when you strap a female wig onto the Theory of Everything star, they're partically identical.

The award-winning actor stopped by Conan Monday, and the talk show host started to ask him about his education and his early career. Having attended an all-boys school, Redmayne often needed to play women's roles, which would become "healthy and helpful" later in his first professional job. Playing Viola in a production of Twelfth Night, he joked that he was a "boy playing a girl playing a boy."

Of course, host Conan O'Brien got ahold of a picture of Redmayne in that role, and told the crowd that someone had notice he "bared an uncanny resemblance to Jennifer Garner, and it's incredible!"

But seriously...they're TWINS! His high cheekbones and fair skin make him a dead ringer for Mrs. Ben Affleck.

"That is the greatest compliment I have ever heard!" Redmayne gushed.

"You can also play her in The Jennifer Garner Story," Conan joked. "I've got your next nine movies locked down."

Although those could certainly keep the actor busy for quite awhile, Conan wanted to know if there was any lie he told to get a part he had become "obsessed" with after auditioning. The Oscar nominee revealed that during his final audition for Les Misérables he lied and told the director that he was an expert horseman!

When it came time to film, however, Redmayne pretty much got caught in his lie after he nearly hurt people while losing control of a stallion the director had him ride (while in front of Helen Mirren, he might add LOL ).

"You're a f--king liar, Redmayne!" the director, Tom Hooper, screamed over a megaphone.

Hooper sent the Golden Globe winner to "horse camp" where he learned to horseback ride LOL.
