The Lost City of Z cast just got even sexier.

E! News confirms that Sons of Anarchy alum Charlie Hunnam will portray Col. Percival Fawcett in the James Gray movie, starring opposite Sienna Miller and Robert Pattinson.

The film is an adaptation of David Grann's acclaimed best-selling book The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon, which tells the story of Percy Fawcett, a British colonial who disappeared in the 1920s while searching for a mythical city in the Amazon jungles of Brazil that he believed he discovered on a prior expedition.

Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt along with Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner are producing. Production is slated to begin during the summer of 2015.

Meanwhile, Hunnam (who, may we remind you, was who you picked to win the Celeb Men's Best Bod tournament) has been keeping busy with a slew of projects.

Hunnam is currently in production on the Warner Bros. epic Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur from director Guy Ritchie, in which he plays the title role. He will next be seen in Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak and the sequel to Legendary's Pacific Rim.

It was originally rumored that Benedict Cumberbatch would take on the lead role of Fawcett. Deadline reported way back in September 2013 that the English actor was in negotiations to snag the male lead, however, it's now clear that something stopped that from happening.

And in comes Charlie!
