Rosie Perez's return to The View got off to a rocky start.

Today marked the co-host's first day back to her post on the daytime talk show, and unfortunately, it wasn't as smooth as she may have hoped. Perez made a seemingly innocent comment during a Hot Topics segment discussing Bobbi Kristina's tragic condition, but her choice of words was not so good.

The 50-year-old actress brought up the Whitney Houston biopic which recently premiered on Lifetime and told the audience, "Just thought about the movie that came out, and this is no disrespect to Angela Bassett because I love [her], but this unauthorized bio of her mom must have killed her," Rosie said.

Yikes. But Perez instantly realized what she said and backtracked.

"That was terrible phrasing," she continued. "It must have hurt her deeply to watch that. We forget these people are human beings. We put them into the tabloids, and we forget they're human beings."

The comment comes days after the 21-year-old entered the hospital in Atlanta after she was discovered unconscious in her bathtub on Saturday morning, barely a week shy of the three-year anniversary of her mom's death.

As of yesterday, Bobbi remained in a comatose state at North Fulton Hospital, but multiple sources confirm to E! News that she was moved last night to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

"We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina," father Bobby Brown said Tuesday in a statement released by his attorney and obtained by E! News. "To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon. We continue to request privacy in this matter. Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time."

Meanwhile, Yaya DaCosta, who played Houston in the biopic, is keeping Bobbi in her prayers. "Dear @REALbkBrown Bobbi Kristina, Praying with my whole heart that you pull through this," she tweeted.
