Try as you might, Anastasia Steele, but Christian Grey is irresistible!
In a Fifty Shades of Grey sneak peek premiering Tuesday on NBC's Today, Ana (played by Dakota Johnson) attempts to hold herself together in the presence of Christian (Jamie Dornan), but when the BDSM bad boy offers her an internship position with his billion dollar firm, she has a tough time turning him down!
The clip begins with Ana attempting to interview Christian, but with his sharp suit and impenetrable gaze, he turns the line of questioning around. "I would like to know more about you," he says.
"There's really not much to know about me," she claims.
"You said you're an English major," he says. "Tell me, was it Charlotte Brontë, Jane Austen or Thomas Hardy who first made you fall in love with literature?'
"Hardy," Ana answers breathily.
"I would've guessed Jane Austen," Christian replies, looking intrigued.
He then asks Ms. Steele about her post-graduation plans, and when she offers a stammering, uncertain response, he presents her with the internship offer that's almost impossible to refuse.
"I don't think I'd fit in here," she says, laughing shyly. "Look at me."
Christian responds simply (but seductively), "I am."
Oh my!
