Oh, boy! Chad Michael Murray and Sarah Roemer are expecting a baby boy!
The 33-year-old Agent Carter actor offhandedly referred to his unborn child as his "son" during a recent E! News interview with Ali Fedotowsky. The gender revelation comes shortly after E! News exclusively reported that Murray and Roemer, 30, had gotten married and are expecting their first child together.
"What kind of dad would you be?" Fedotowsky asked.
"Ooh, that's tough," admitted Murray, who began dating Roemer after meeting on the set of Chosen. "I'm a respect first kind of guy, so I think certain things that I want my son to have is just respect and just to be a kind human being. I'm a big sports guy, an outdoorsy guy, so I'll be having him fishing at 5, 6...to take him kayaking and hiking. I just keep thinking in my head, just trying to create 6-foot-5 quarterback."
Last month, Murray hinted he was ready for fatherhood.
"That's definitely in the cards. I think that's the No. 1 priority in my life," he said. "I'm so blessed."
Indeed he is!
After E! News first reported the couple's wedding and baby news last month, Murray took to Twitter to express his joy. "Thank you friends," the former One Tree Hill star tweeted Jan. 22. "We are very excited & appreciate all your incredible tweets & kindness over the past few days! They each meant so much."
