Paul Redmond/WireImageAfter two-and-a-half years of marriage, Giovanni Ribisi and Agyness Deyn are calling it quits.
The 40-year-old Saving Private Ryan star filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from his 31-year-old model-actress wife in January 2015. The divorce papers, obtained by E! News, list the couple's separation date as Dec. 28.
It came as quite the surprise when the twosome quietly married in Los Angeles in June 2012. It was the second marriage for Ribisi, who has a 17-year-old daughter named Lucia with ex-wife Mariah O'Brien, and the first for Deyn. Ribisi and Deyn have no children together.
The British beauty seemed quite fond of married life in the beginning, telling Vogue U.K. in 2012, "I love being a wife! When you know, you know."
"He's f--king awesome," she added. "Every day is a honeymoon."
Deyn felt the same in 2013, gushing too InStyle U.K. of Ribiisi, "He's incredible. He's my hero."
"I suppose you meet someone and you're just like, you know...Obviously, if someone's marrying someone, they're bringing a lot of really good stuff," she said.
Reps for Deyn and Ribisi did not immediately return E! News' request for comment.
