At much as it pains us to say it, Taylor Swift will not be performing at this Sunday's Grammys.

But before we get too upset, the "Shake It Off" singer has a perfectly good reason as to why she's not planning a special performance for the show.

"Since my whole life is wrapped up and entangled in the planning of the 1989 World Tour right now, I'm not going to be performing on the Grammys this year," she shared on Tumblr Monday afternoon. "I need this time to focus only on the tour."

Last November, Swift announced a massive tour that kicks off in Louisiana this May. The show will hit North America and Europe before heading to Australia in December.

Just last weekend, the "Blank Space" crooner announced Haim would be joining the show on select dates as a special guest.

"The girls and I got to talking and I'm overjoyed to announce that @HAIMtheband will be joining The 1989 World Tour!!" Swift tweeted.  "TOURING W/ SQUAD YESSSS"

Before she hits the road, Swift will in fact be at Sunday's show held inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles. And although she's not singing one of her many No. 1 hits, the blond beauty guarantees plenty of dancing in the aisles.

"I'm really excited to be nominated for 3 Grammys this year and even more excited that I'll be there having a dance party/rage fest in the audience," she shared with fans. "I will also be presenting the award for Best New Artist."

Thank goodness she's coming! After all, we just can't wait until May to see her live.

"I hope I'll see you out there at one of the stadiums this summer having a rage fest of your own!" she concluded.
