InstagramForget about Tom Brady and Russell Wilson! According to Taylor Swift, Mariska Hargitay and Ellen Pompeo were the true stars on Super Bowl Sunday.
While the "Shake It Off" singer was watching football's biggest game of the year, the superstar performer couldn't help but spot two very familiar faces in the audience.
As it turns out, her favorite characters from Law & Order S.V.U. and Grey's Anatomy were in Arizona and celebrating game day together!
"OH. MY. GOD," Swift shared on Twitter after seeing Hargitay's photo on Instagram. "Framing this."
Hargitay added, "This one goes out to @TaylorSwift13 @TaylorSwift #CatsOutOfTheBag #NFL #NationalFelineLeague #MeowMeow #CatsMeow." Ummm, we're totally freaking out too T. Swift!
Before you think we're all going crazy over one Instagram, we have to explain.
Swift named her two Scottish Folds cats Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson after admiring Pompeo and Hargitay's roles on the small screen.
And while some people like cats, Swift absolutely adores them and treats them to fabulous sweaters, gifts and plenty of adorable Instagram shoutouts.
"@TaylorSwift13 we did that just for you," Pompeo shared on Twitter. "And the fan girls of course." Thank you ladies, thank you!
And for those wondering, Swift was able to watch at least part of the game. Based on her tweets, however, she may have been way more interested in the commercials than the actual score.
"MCDONALDS WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME," she wrote after watching its inspiring commercial in the first half. "I WASN'T READY."
