You better believe the new Pitch Perfect 2 trailer is aca-awesome!
While we were watching a true nail-biter some like to call this year's Super Bowl game, millions of viewers were freaking out after Universal Pictures surprised fans with a brand new sneak peek.
In the jam-packed trailer, the Bellas endure a "riff off" with the Green Bay Packers. Yes, NFL stud Clay Matthews makes a cameo.
And while Anna Kendrick and her team bust out a rendition of "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood, the competition decides to go even more retro with a cover of "Bootylicious" by Beyoncé and Destiny's Child. Oh, no they didn't!
"Oh. And then I'm there. Singing Carrie Underwood," Kendrick tweeted once the commercial aired. "It's like you guys are seeing into my nightly dreams...... #werid #SurprisePP2Trailer."
For those not caught up with Beca, Fat Amy and the rest of the cast, the highly anticipated sequel brings the Bellas to the a cappella world championship where they face-off against the Treblemakers and a few beefy-looking singers from overseas.
"Guys, there's going to be some haters out there and they're going to look at Team USA and be like, ‘Why is the most talented one Australian?'" Rebel Wilson jokes in the trailer. LOL!
Pitch Perfect 2 hits theaters everywhere on May 15, 2015.
