Was there a "Please Include Heartwarming Dad Stuff" memo that companies got before the Super Bowl? Because there were definitely a lot of tear-jerking commercials that were all about being a father.
Besides all the dad emotions, we also got adorable puppies, Liam Neeson threatening someone (again), and the return of Walter White (Bryan Cranston). So while most of the ads were entertaining at the very least, there were some that shined brighter than the others.
(Note: we decided not to include any TV spots or trailers in this list, because, well, we're in charge here and also Jurassic World was the only trailer worth talking about and we already did geek out over it.)
In no particular order or ranking, here are our favorite commercials from the 2015 Super Bowl:
10. "Say My Name" – Esurance
Just a short 60 seconds with W.W. is better than none at all. We miss you, Heisenberg.
9. "Like a Girl" – Always
The little girl in the pink dress is our new hero.
8. "With Dad" – Nissan
This may sound superficial of us, but the dad in this commercial is really hot, right?
7. "Revenge" – Clash of Clans
Not only is it just amazing that Liam Neeson is now an action star, but he's also mocking his own action hero-ness. Also, how soon do you guys think "AngryNeeson52" was snatched up as a username on Clash of Clans?
6. "One Bold Choice" – Toyota
Another dad ad! The final shot of the dad crying in the car just kills us.
5. "The Brady Bunch" – Snickers
Steve Buscemi is the real star of this ad.
4. "Lost Dog" – Budwesier
Give us a puppy and we're happy. Give us a lost puppy and we're in tears. Give us a puppy that gets lost and then found? We're crying happy tears.
3. "Real Strength" – Dove
Ugh, these dad ads are just slaying us.
2. "Perfect Middle Seat Companion" – Doritos
This commercial is us on every single flight (minus hitting on people with babies). Finding the perfect middle seat companion is crucial.
1. "Make It Happy" – Coca-Cola
Internet trolls hate the happiness in this commercial.
