After teasing several Super Bowl ads all week, the hosts of the Today show finally debuted its own commercial spot Friday morning!

The ad was created by Coldplay's director, Mat Whitecross, and was inspired by his music video for the band's recent hit, "A Sky Full of Stars." Set to that same song, the morning show hosts walk around Rockefeller Center together, greeting fans, holding hands and just enjoying the merriment of the early AM!

Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Natalie Morales, Willie Geist, Tamron Hall, Carson Daly, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb all meet up together to continue making their way around New York City, but the real treat is when the show's new puppy, Wrangler, makes a cameo!

A behind-the-scenes look at the making of the commercial shows how much fun the hosts had while filming.

"The idea really was let's start off with our four anchors walking to work, and as they go along the rest of the team start coming in one by one," Whitecross says.

"Everyone is here we're having a good time," Carson says. "It's a good vibe!"

It was a frigid morning when they finally shot the video, which took several takes, so the talkers had to try to warm up somehow...by taking selfies greeting passersby! The ad ends with a heartfelt message that reads, "Mornings shine brighter with you. Tell us what makes your morning shine."

The commercial is part of the Today show's #RisetoShine campaign.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
