Something has been missing from your lives. We know, it's been missing from ours too. That something is The Good Wife. The beloved CBS drama hasn't had a new episode since Sunday, Jan. 11 and won't be back until—brace yourselves—Sunday, March 1.

Before you go and start freaking out that The Good Wife is going to be canceled let us remind you that:

1. CBS loves the show.

2. It's not benched because it's getting canceled.

3. The show did this last year around the same time because of all the various sporting events—there's this game on Sunday, the Super Bowl, have you heard of it?—and awards shows that take up Sunday nights during the winter.

When The Good Wife finally makes its triumphant return, there will be some new and returning faces in the bunch. Not only will Rachael Harris return to the show, but E! News has confirmed Gary Cole will also be making a return appearance as Kurt McVeigh for several episodes. Several! You know what that means? More Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski). That's always a good thing

Additionally, E! has also confirmed The Big C and Fargo veteran Oliver Platt will recur as R.D., a conservative businessman with a passion for hunting. Mary Tyler Moore veteran Ed Asner will also make an appearance when the show returns in March.

TVLine and Yahoo first reported Cole's and Platt's castings.

The Good Wife airs Sundays, 9 p.m. on CBS.
