The actress debuted a different 'do while on the set of her new film The Secret in Their Eyes, and although we're a fan of her brunette and banged tresses, it's also very possible that Roberts is rocking a wig for the movie (but at least now we know that if she did decide to switch it up, this is a good alternative to her already-lovely locks).
Julia also got a sweet visit from her hubby Daniel Moder, who stopped by the set in Pasadena, Calif., to hang out with his ladylove while she took a break from shooting.
Billy Ray's remake of the 2009 Academy Award winner for foreign-language (directed by Juan Jose Campanella) is based on the Eduardo Sacheri novel about a romance between a retired judiciary employee and a judge who work to solve a 1974 rape and murder two decades after it took place.
Roberts portrays a character whose daughter is murdered. Her friend digs up the case years later when he thinks he's found the guy who got away with it.
Nicole Kidman, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Dean Norris co-star in the drama which is slated for a release later this year.
