Pregnant Liv Tyler showcased her growing baby bump in a cozy-looking, puffy winter coat while walking through the snow-covered streets of New York City on Thursday.

With a fuzzy hood and black hat over her head, the 37-year-old actress was seen giving a smile as she made her way down a slippery sidewalk, braving the barely-above freezing temperatures in the city, which was hit by the winter storm Juno earlier this week. She paired the look with black leggings tucked into rubber boots.

Tyler, recently seen on the HBO post-apocalyptic series The Leftovers, is expecting her second child and her first with boyfriend Dave Gardner. Her pregnancy was confirmed in September, about a month after she and her beau made their public debut as a couple.

She and ex-husband and Spacehog rocker Royston Langdon share a 10-year-old son, Milo William Langdon.

"The most fun thing about being pregnant again is having those mom hormones flowing around," she told Town & Country magazine last year. "You're more present in your body, and it's making me a better mother for Milo."

Tyler, best known for roles in films such as Empire Records and The Lord of the Rings, made her TV debut last June with The Leftovers, which was filmed the previous winter north of New York City and depicts a Rapture-life event that claims the lives of 2 percent of the world's population. The actress plays Meg Abbott, a woman who leaves her fiancé and is recruited by a cult deemed the Guilty Remnant, whose full-fledged members wear white.

The Leftovers has been renewed for a second season. A premiere date has not been announced. The storyline of Tyler's character, which—spoiler alert!—differs on the show and in the Tom Perrotta book on which the series is based, remains unknown.

HBO has not confirmed which cast members are returning for season 2. E! News learned in December that Tyler is expected to come back.

The actress said in an interview with Collider, posted in September, that she has "no idea" when The Leftovers season 2 will begin filming, adding, "I'm desperate to know."

"My character's story wasn't told, at all, in the first season," she said. "Some of those stories were, but not all of them. So, I don't really know what they're going to do, in the next season."

And if Tyler were to appear in season 2 of The Leftovers, if her character does not become pregnant and if the new episodes were to also take place in winter, a baby bump could potentially be hidden: In season 1, her character and fellow cult members, including Laurie, played by Amy Brenneman, mostly wore baggy clothing.
