Rest Easy, Jeff Bridges' Sleeping Tapes Album Is Here and There's a Super Bowl Commercial to Go With It: Watch the Teaser!

Oscar winner has teamed with Squarespace for his latest venture, with all proceeds going to a great cause

Go the F--k to Sleep this is not.

Jeff Bridges is hoping that some of that Dude-caliber mellowness he's associated with will help you get a better night's sleep—or, just help you chill out!

His new album, Jeff Bridges' Sleeping Tapes, is a combination of the Oscar winner's spoken words over field recordings and ambient sounds, along with guided meditations. The LP is currently streaming online and is available to download, with all proceeds going to Bridges' pet cause, Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign.

"While working on the Sleeping Tapes album we put in some long hours," Bridges told the Wall Street Journal's Speakesy section. "Listening back to our day's works, I'd often drift off. I'd wake up and smile saying, ‘This stuff works.'

So if the Super Bowl audience suddenly drops off dramatically after halftime, now you know why.

Squarespace, the content management system Bridges teamed up with for his new site, DreamingWithJeff.com, is running its second commercial ever during the first half of the game.

A few beers and plates of food in, a few bars of Bridges playing the recorder may just knock you out. But it's cool, man.

"It can be used as a sleep aid but I like listening to the album anytime," Bridges told Speakesy. "I just dig the sounds, stories and vibe."

Dudes and ladies alike will totally abide.
