Gabe Ginsberg, Dimitrios Kambouris/WireImageAriel Winter may be celebrating her 17th birthday today, but there's another big party the Modern Family star would also like to plan: Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello's wedding.
"I wish," Winter told me at the 2015 SAG Awards. "If I was involved, I would be so excited. I'm just hoping to get an invite to the wedding. They are the most beautiful people on the planet."
And she continued, "Their babies are going to be so beautiful. It should be illegal…She is so wonderful and he's wonderful man. I'm really happy for both of them."
The future bride and groom made their first post-engagement red carpet appearance at the SAG Awards, where Vergara stunned in a red Donna Karan gown and of course, her huge engagement rock.
E! News was the first to confirm that the couple got engaged after about five months of dating when the former True Blood star popped the question on Christmas Eve while they were vacationing in Hawaii. "I've never seen two people so truly in love," a source told us at the time. "The way they talk to each other, touch each other. It's incredible."
Julie Bowen insists Vergara hasn't been talking about the wedding while they're filming Modern Family.
"She never brings it up with us," Bowen told E! News at the Entertainment Weekly pre-SAG Awards party. "We've asked her, we all like to give her a hard time being like, 'If it's five people we're obviously not invited, but if it's 700 did we make the cut?' Her family alone is like 450 people. It's crazy."
Bowen is thinking Vergara will have many looks come wedding day.
"I would like to see what she'd wear," the Emmy winner said. "Would there be outfit changes? Would there be an aisle dress and then a post? Would there be a pre, during and after? That's kind of the only thing I'd care about. And what will he wear?"
