Watch: Tom Brady Opens Up on Wife Gisele Bundchen and Kids

Tom Brady's got a cold, all right, but the game—Super Bowl XLIX—must go on!

Fortunately, the New England Patriots quarterback has his coaches and teammates' support, and of course, lots of love coming his way from wife Gisele Bündchen and the kids! But why wasn't the stunning supermodel standing by Tom's side at the Pats' media day Tuesday?!

"She's at home [in Boston] taking care of everybody, all the kids," Tom explained to reporters in Phoenix's U.S. Airways Arena. "She's gonna come out this weekend. There's obviously a lot going on with media day and our preparations [here], so she's taking care of the home front."

Gisele and Tom have a 5-year-old son, Benjamin, and 2-year-old daughter, Vivian; the athlete also has a 7-year-old son, Jack, from his relationship with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. The kids, of course, will be in the University of Phoenix Stadium as dad and the Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks Sunday.

"They'll love the excitement of the game," said Tom. "It's such a unique experience."

GAME: Did Tom Brady really just say that about balls?!

Of course, at 2, Vivian is "not quite old enough yet" to have determined whether she's a sports fan or not, said Tom. As for the boys? "I've got one that loves sports," he said, "and the other one that doesn't love sports very much."

So is it Benjamin, Tom's son with Gisele, or Jack, his son with Bridget, who's not a football fan?! Watch the clip above to find out! Plus, see what the NFL hunk had to say about his "challenging" pre-game week and how he's maintaining "mental toughness"!
