We've got some breaking news here: There was a blizzard on the East Coast today.

Oh wait, that's not breaking news at all. Pretty much everyone with a phone and thumbs has been tweeting/Instagram-ing/fretting about the not-so-little storm known as Juno. And sure, it maybe didn't hit as hard as it was supposed to in areas like New York City, but the blizzard still managed to shut down major roads and the subway system. It also gave approximately 8 million people a freebie snow day.

The snowstorm also provided a whole lot of comedic fodder, the best of which came from Jon Stewart himself. He taped last night's show during the beginning of the snowfall, and had some pretty hilarious things to say about it all.

"My guess is, if you are watching this program, New York is gone," he told the audience somberly. "I hope you remember us for our world-class pizza and bridges, and not for our tendency to tell people who innocently happen to have their eyes locked with our eyes to go f--k themselves."

He also gave some well-deserved props to the fans who braved the weather to show up to the studio, acknowledging that if he were asked to come to a taping of The Daily Show during a blizzard, his response would have been more along the lines of "Oh yeah, f--k that." Sounds about right, Jon.
