After Roman Reigns came out on top at the annual Royal Rumble last night, #CancelWWENetwork became an instant trending topic, with fans pulling no punches with their displeasure at what appeared to them to be an undeserving victory.
The twitterverse was steaming mad because they thought Reigns only won because the WWE is pushing him as wrestling's next big hero, the hashtag even being rumored to have cotnributed to WWE's stock price falling on Wall Street today. Reigns has tweeted that folks should tune into Raw tonight to hear his take on the controversy, though the action due to take place in Hartford, Conn., was canceled due to the approaching blizzard in the Northeast.
