It's a new era for So You Think You Can Dance!

The Fox dance competition series is getting some new faces this season when former American Idol and The X Factor judge Paula Abdul and singer/dancer Jason Derulo join veteran Nigel Lythgoe at the judges table. Cat Deeley will return as host for the new season, which will also feature a new twist in the competition: stage dancers vs. street dancers.

This weekend kicked off the So You Think You Can Dance season 12 audtions in New York City, and we've got the exclusive first look at the new panel sitting at the judges table for the first time!

Abdul and Derulo join the panel after longtime judge Mary Murphy announced her contract was not renewed for the reality show's new season.
