Keira Knightley may come off as a quiet and demure woman, but her latest interview for Elle U.K.'s March issue proves that the actress is quite the potty-mouthed pistol—and we love it!

The gorgeous cover star stuns in her spread for the mag, which is obviously no shock to anyone who has ever laid eyes on the 29-year-old, but what may come as a surprise is her witty and fierce responses to topics such as her name (that's actually a pretty good story) and conformity.

And speaking of conformity, don't ever expect this pregnant A-lister to wear anything she doesn't want to wear. Trends don't mean squat to this leading lady.

"‘Break the rules. I've always hated the idea that you should be wearing this or that, because it makes me feel like I'm getting everything wrong," Knightley tells the mag. "I hated it at school, and I don't want it as an adult. If you want to wear a f--king flowerpot on your head and that makes you happy, then wear a f--king flowerpot on your head.'

Yes, ma'am!

The Imitation Game star also made that pretty clear last night during the 2015 SAG Awards.

"It just means that you're not going to wear anything tight for me," she told E! News of choosing which gowns to wear each night. "Actually, people do wear tight things when they're pregnant, don't they? I don't want to…So it's just all quite loose. I'm quite comfortable."

She added, "The shoes are quite high, they may come off later. I can go, 'Well, I'm pregnant so my shoes have to come off,' and no one can say anything."

Things got even more interesting when the celeb discussed the origin of her name. Fun fact: It wasn't supposed to be Keira.

"I was meant to be named ‘Kiera', after a Russian ice skater who was on the TV one day. My dad fancied her and nicked her name for me," she revealed to Elle.

"But it was my mum who went to register my birth, and she accidentally spelled ‘ei' instead of ‘ie' because my mum's crap at spelling. Apparently, when she came back, he said: 'WHAT THE F--K? You've spelt her name wrong!' What were they going to do, though? Once it's on the piece of paper, it's on the piece of paper. And that's me. A spelling error."

LOL! Keira's Elle U.K. issue will be available on Jan. 29.
