John Oliver has been nothing but open about his feelings towards Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film. The Last Week Tonight host is/was so vehemently opposed to the casting choice that he launched a Twitter campaign, #NotMyChristian (LOL), against the decision, which landed him in some trouble for other reasons.

But now he is taking one last stand against Dornan and the casting director's decision by releasing his own audition tape in spite of Hollywood's "unimaginative casting." Because apparently the fact that he wasn't even considered is somehow more upsetting than hiring Dornan to portray the "epitome of male beauty."

"Whenever you need a Caucasian foreigner or a cheerful weakling, suddenly my phone's blowing up," said Oliver, explaining why he is now attempting to try out for the coveted role.

"I am recording an audition for a movie that's already been made based on a book I have never read," he said before launching into his audition.

"According to Wikipedia I'm ready to take a young woman on a journey from frumpy nerd to fully realized sexual being," he said in the Christian Grey persona. "This is a thing that I, Christian Grey, feel totally comfortable talking about and doing. Maybe I'll tell her to let her hair down and stop wearing paint-stained overalls all the time...or maybe that's just the plot of She's All That.

"Either way doesn't matter," he ended his audition, "I'm presuming this is all going to end in butt stuff."
