Although she has two Oscar wins under her belt, Dianne Wiest can't pay rent.

The two-time Academy Award winner, who took home statues for Bullets Over Broadway and Hannah and Her Sisters, told the New York Times that she is hardly living the life of glamour as a result of her stacked résumé. In fact, she has to relocate soon because of rising expenses and lower income.

"I have to move out of my apartment soon," she said in her interview about Rasheeda, an off-Broadway play she's starring in.

The Edward Scissorhands actress told the newspaper that her career struggles are a result of typecasting and lack of opportunities on the big screen. For a long time, the actress was offered roles that depicted a "nice mom and that's it. That's all that ever came, except in theater."

She is still holding out hope that more roles on the screen will come her way, but remains cautiously optimistic out of fear that it might not actually all work out.

"I think that if it's meant to happen, it will happen," she said. "Which is I guess a real sign of stupidity."

Wiest appeared on The Blacklist where she portrayed the head of Amnesty United. Prior to that she was last seen as Dr. Gina Toll in HBO's In Treatment, for which she won one of her Emmys.
