During a stop on this morning's Live! With Kelly and Michael, the former Twilight star explained that she's been enjoying taking a break from Hollywood to relax and focus on other hobbies.
K.Stew admitted that after working "for a solid two years" she just wants to keep a low profile.
"I need to breathe," she shared, before hesitating about divulging exactly what she would be doing on her time off.
"You can say one thing about a detail of your life and it expands like wildfire. Like, 'Oh, so you're a painter now!' I'm like, 'Not at all, I'm like in middle school art class in my garage, basically.'"
The 24-year-old also gushed about her co-star, Julianne Moore, who appears to be making quite an awards season sweep thus far (what with last night's SAG Award and the Golden Globe Award earlier this month!).
"I wanted to give her the skin off my back," K.Stew said of filming the heart-wrenching movie. "I wanted to do anything I could to help her, support her."
Her words echoed her previous sentiments about Moore during a guest appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, where she said, "You'd have to be a bit of a sociopath to not stand in front of what Julianne did and be affected by it. Anything in that movie that you see, it's so real. We were so honestly just there together."
