And if your first reaction was "Wait, what?!" then rest assured, because you're not alone.
Despite introducing himself onscreen, many viewers were left scratching their hands as the skinny man bun-sporting thesp looked nothing like the Zach Galifianakis we've come to adore.
The 45-year-old Hangover star showed off a much slimmer appearance and a close-shaven face when he arrived at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday, where he apparently decided to take a cue in the hairdo department from fellow star Jared Leto.
Galifianakis previously showed off his weight loss back in October while making the promotional rounds for Birdman, and in May 2013, he opened up to Conan O'Brien about what prompted him to shed the pounds.
"I stopped drinking and I just kind of put the weight off…" he said. "I was having a lot of vodka with sausage…delicious but bad for you."
He added, "I was getting into too much trouble with the drinking, so I just kind of stopped."
Looks like it paid off in more ways than one. You look great, Zach!
