The Imitation Game star spoke with E! News on the red carpet at the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards and joked that her baby bump is keeping her in nothing but comfortable attire this awards season—and she's not complaining about it!
"It just means that you're not going to wear anything tight for me," she said of choosing which gowns to wear each night. "Actually, people do wear tight things when they're pregnant, don't they? I don't want to…So it's just all quite loose. I'm quite comfortable."
She added, "The shoes are quite high, they may come off later. I can go, 'Well, I'm pregnant so my shoes have to come off,' and no one can say anything." That's right!
Knightley was without a doubt stunning in a flowy purple Erdem empire-waist gown paired with matching makeup and a half-up, half-down hairdo that perfectly framed her killer cheekbones.
She also took a departure from more traditional red carpet baubles and rocked one diamond-encrusted ear cuff on her right ear. Very rad!
In early December, E! News first reported that the gorgeous Brit was welcoming her first child with husband James Righton, whom she married in an intimate ceremony in France in May of 2013.
