Looks like Jennie Garth's new year is off to a great start in the romance department!
The 42-year-old actress is dating actor David Abrams, E! News confirms. The cute couple was photographed together last month at Color Me Mine children's art studio in Studio City, Calif., where, according to an eyewitness, the lovebirds were taking Garth's daughters to make Christmas ornaments.
Reports of the blond beauty's new beau comes just over year and a half after the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star finalized her divorce from Peter Facinelli after nearly 11 years of marriage. The two are parents to three daughters, Luca, 17, Lola, 12, and Fiona, 8.
According to Us Weekly, which was first to report the news of the couple, Garth has already introduced Abrams to her parents. "They met briefly once before a couple years ago," an insider said.
The What I Like About You star and the Twilight actor filed for divorce back in March 2012, citing Jan. 1 as the date of their separation. Facinelli has since moved on with actress Jaime Alexander (the two began seeing each other in November 2012) while Garth last dated Michael Shimbo, the CEO of a video travel channel, although the two split after just three months together in November 2013.
In October 2013, the Mystery Girls star opened up about her dating life following her divorce and admitted that being a single parent is "super challenging."
"It's fun and it's awful all at the same time," she said of navigating the dating scene. "It's like a weird type of torture, but it can be fun."
So, what she's looking for in a man?
"I look for somebody that shares an energy," she revealed. "It doesn't matter what the person looks like or what they really do. There has to be that first and foremost, that zing. That thing."
