On Thursday, Kelly Clarkson posted on her Instagram page yet another too-cute-for-words pic of her and husband Brandon Blackstock's baby daughter, now 6 months old, all bundled up in an adorable, colorful and cozy-looking outfit and a gray wool hat.
"River's night out on the town in NYC!" said the 32-year-old proud mama, who sported a printed sweatshirt. "#WelcomeToNewYork :)"
Her hashtag may also be a tribute to Taylor Swift's 2014 song of the same name. Clarkson covered another one of the singer's hits, "Shake It Off," during a concert in October.
The Texas-born Grammy-winning pop star and first winner of American Idol and her family have a $2.8 million home in Tennessee. Clark and her hubby wed in the state in October 2013 and welcomed baby River Rose, her first child, in June 2014. He has two children from a previous marriage.
Clarkson has posted several photos of her baby girl. Earlier this week, she shared a pic showing the child in a highchair, getting ready to eat.
"Ain't nothin' but a G thing baby…" Clarkson tweeted, "#feedingtime #iwillcutyou."
And, of course, there was River's first Thanksgiving, first time meeting Santa and first concert. Then there was the hilarious tribute to Lady Gaga.
Earlier this month, the singer posted a video of her kid rocking out to her new single, "Heartbeat Song." The track is featured on her new album and seventh major studio record, Piece by Piece, which is set to hit stores in March. A tour will follow in the summer.
"It's actually River's heartbeat, slowed down from when she was in my tummy," Clarkson said on the iHeartRadio program Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
The singer talked more about River Rose in the interview, which was posted on Jan. 12, saying her little girl is not crawling yet.
"She has like, the largest head ever," she joked. "She can't even...barely sit up! Her head is like in the 97th percentile."
"That's what actually makes it cute, because she's got this large head with like, these big cheeks and this little body. It's actually adorable," she continued. "But I dunno, I might be one of those moms that's like, 'It's so cute!' and everybody's like, 'Ehhhh.'"
