The Budweiser puppy is back—but there's a problem: This little Labrador's been separated from his human and his Clydesdale horse BFF!

Anheuser-Busch's "Lost Dog" commercial will air in full during the Super Bowl XLIX on Feb. 1, but Budweiser is releasing some adorable teaser images before the big game day. In these heartbreaking pics and GIFs you can see for yourself just how determined this pup's beloved #BestBuds are to bring him back home.

The new campaign images feature Don Jeanes, the Southern gentleman from Budweiser's 2013 "Brotherhood" ad and 2014's "Puppy Love" spot. He's posting missing dog flyers, promising a reward for his pal's safe return.

The Budweiser Clydesdale tries to comfort the guy, but he too looks truly distraught with his partner in crime nowhere to be found.

As for the missing tail-wagger himself?! He's cowering from the rain in a makeshift shelter, looking longingly through a fence for his pals, peeking out from a pile of hay with big, hopeful eyes and basically being everywhere he shouldn't be!

According to a press release, the Budweiser Clydesdales "will tell an emotional story" in the spot, and help a puppy who has lost his way learn the true meaning of friendship."

"The Budweiser Clydesdales have appeared in our Super Bowl ads for nearly three decades. They continue to serve as time-honored symbols of how we brew our beer: remarkable care and attention, sparing no expense, the highest quality and consistency,"added Brian Perkins, vice president, Budweiser. "This year, they will live up to their reputation and once again save the day in a heartwarming story about best buds never letting you down."
