The 28-year-old singer Instagrammed a stunning, makeup-free selfie from bed Wednesday, revealing long, wavy brunette locks and an absolutely flawless complexion. She appeared to be topless in the sultry shot, revealing her bare shoulders but covering her breasts with the bed sheet.
"No happier me than waking up with the sunshine in my face after a night of writing songs," she wrote in a caption accompanying the shot. "In my mind, I kept seeing all you monsters singing along. Smiling. I think the best part for me isn't only just the songwriting process, it's who we get to share it with when its all finished."
With her raw musical talent and natural beauty, you'd think she'd have no use for the sometimes distracting costumes and wigs she wears in public. But for Gaga, fashion is much more than just how something looks on her: It's a collaboration!
"What I'd like to do is always support great and young designers and bring their art to the forefront of commercial culture," she told Style.com last year. "I have a love for the avant-garde, but I also have a love for simplicity. For me, it's all about supporting the artists. I think the more artists that support each other, the better the creative world will be. I just love fashion, and I want people to feel the same passion I feel and the same admiration for designers."
"I weep over hemlines when I receive dresses," she said. "I cry over the beading."
She admitted, however, her "off-duty Gaga style" is much more relaxed. "I'm usually naked with my face mask on,," she told Style.com, "running around my hotel room on my cell phone, working my t--s off and burning sage."
